Rejuvance – Face Massage Technique
Rejuvance is an alternative form of treatment aiming to rejuvenate the face. It is a special technique that consists of gentle massage movements that are applied on the skin’s surface to produce a natural face lift.
As a first step the rejuvance massage movements release the facial connective tissue from the tension and blockages that have been produced from long term expression contractions that have been made permanent over the years. This way the blood microcirculation is enhanced thus helping the transfer of oxygen, water and other substances, uniformly, over the entire face.
On second level, with the use of deeper but partiularly relaxing movements, Rejuvance massage counters clenches and muscle loosening, the main concern of most women. At this point we exercise the facial muscles one by one. Like an absolutely natural face lift.
The series of techniques is concluded with acupressure.
With Rejuvance Massage:
the muscle tissue is detoxified
the facial contour is tightened and redefined
the wrinkles are evened
the eyes “open” and the eye-bags are countered
the entire face is lifted, hydrated from within and looks brighter
It also relieves from temporomandibular syndrome (bruxism), headaches, and tensions at the neck, shoulders and scalp.
What is a Rejuvance session like?
As a first step the face is cleansed with the use of an organic lotion. The techniques of releasing the connective tissue usually do not include use of oil. Nevertheless, if the skin is dehydrated, partial use of oil and cell renewing essential oils (organic) might occur. This 60 min session is concluded with muscle exercise and acupressure.
How many seesions are needed?
A full treatment consists of 6 sessions. Each session treats a different part of the face although in certain cases the same area (e.g. in case of a scar) might be treated in more that one sessions if needed. Rejuvance massage unwinds its spectacular effects when performed in full, but it can be intensified within 4 or 5 sessions, or even in 1, if a special occasion demands it (e.g. a wedding).
How much does it cost?
The cost depends on the number of sessions.
